We hope this message finds you well, nourished and healthy amidst these tremendous times. As we walk the path of learning right relationship with the First Peoples of this land, we know that the glaring injustices that are stirring our collective conscious have deep, deep roots.

Issues of Indigenous sovereignty and Black Lives Matter are intertwined, both sharing the historical and continuing legacy of white supremacy that is embedded in the Doctrine of Discovery. We are so grateful to all who take seriously the responsibility to work to Dismantle the Doctrine of Discovery, and ask that you join us in whatever way you are able.

Recently, the Indigenous Values Initiative hosted a series entitled "Mother Earth's Pandemic: The Doctrine of Discovery". For those who were unable to participate in the series, click here to view the videos from the conference. There are many incredible teachings, please do take time to listen and watch at your earliest convenience.

Hello friends and family,

Please join me and Learning Right Relations in solidarity with Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women Washington by supporting the MMIWW Blanket Project. Nationally, the crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Men, Women, Children and Two-Spirits is wide-spread. Homicide is the third leading cause of death for Native Americans 10-24 years old.

MMIWW advocates and provides support service for survivors and families of Indigenous people who have gone missing and/or been murdered. Follow them on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/MMIWWashington/.

"Traditionally, Native American gift giving in a sacred manner has always been part of our culture. Giving and receiving a blanket is one of the highest forms of respect in honoring someone. MMIWW would like to give away blankets with our logo on to survivors, families, and community members. Helping to bless others by giving and honoring, will be a blessing for you, your families, and your organizations."
Earth - Feather Sovereign Director/Founder, MMIWW
