LRR Dismantling the Doctrine of Discovery Resources  3.21.22

DDoD Committee of the LRR Action Group   Started in 2018 by Bernie Steckler, the committee continues to research best ways to share information about the Doctrine of Discovery.  Dismantling the DoD is work that LRR will continue to investigate and address with others: including Salish Sea Tribes, Interfaith Works, Faith Action Network, JUUstice Washington (Regional UU group), and others.

Internet Resources

http://doctrineofdiscovery.net  Paul Magid’s Complete Doctrine of Discovery website.  Paul currently offers on-line in-depth classes and discussion groups.  February 17, 2022 was the start date of the “deep dive” course. The “Deep DoD” classes expand upon his Complete Doctrine of Discovery (CDoD) Classes that now include 5 2-hour presentations. Each of the CDoD 2-hour presentations has been expanded into five 1.5+ hour presentations: or, a total of 25 unique classes that connect the many parts of recent human history (last 6,000 yrs) that has relegated American Indian life bound by a set of unjust and rigid pieces of American Indian Law, believed by many scholars to be frozen by the “Settled Law.”
