A Broken Trust: Sexual Assault on Tribal Land
April 16th 5:30pm PST
Virtual film screening with Q&A

Hosted by the Friends Committee on National Legislation and Amnesty International USA, this screening will highlight stories of Native survivors seeking justice. Rape and violence against Native American and Alaskan Native women is an epidemic. What makes this problem worse is the maze of jurisdictions and patchwork of laws that Native women in the US must navigate. The judicial system is designed to fail them, meaning very few women seek justice for the horrific crimes committed against them. Some still fight. And these are their stories.
